 PASTA E FAGOLI

1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage

1 small onion, diced

1 large carrot, shredded

3 celery, chopped

2 clove garlic, minced

1 can diced tomatoes

1 can red kidney beans, with liquid

1 can great northern beans, with liquid

1 can tomato sauce

1 can water

1 can chicken broth

1 Tbsp white vinegar

1 1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp oregano

1/2 tsp pepper

1/2 tsp thyme

1/2 pound Annelli pasta (bigger is better)

Brown beef or sausage. Add onion and celery to brown near end. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to boil and then simmer 30 minutes. Add pasta last  15 minutes.
