WHITE CHICKEN CHILI

WHITE CHICKEN CHILI:

1 pound chicken breast, cubed

1 medium onion, chopped

1 1/2 tsp garlic powder

1 Tbsp veg. oil

2 cans great northern beans, rinsed and drained

1 can (14 oz) chicken broth

2 can (4 oz) chopped green chilies

1 tsp salt

1 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp pepper

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

1 tsp oregano

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

Sauté chicken, onion and garlic powder in veg. oil until no longer pink. Add beans, broth, chilies, seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce and simmer uncovered 30 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in sour cream and heavy cream. Serve with shredded cheese and chips.

Crockpot method: Everything goes in crockpot except sour cream and cream. Cook on low 6-8 hours. Slice chicken. Add sour cream and cream.
