SOUR CREAM NOODLE BAKE

1 1/4 pounds ground chuck

1 can(15 oz) tomato sauce

1/2 tsp salt

pepper

8 oz egg noodles

1/2 cup sour cream

1 1/4 cup small curd cottage cheese

1/2 cup sliced green onions

1 cup grated sharp cheddar

optional add in: mushrooms

Brown chuck, add tomato sauce, salt, and pepper and simmer. Cook noodles and drain. Add sour cream, cottage cheese, green onions, stir. 

Assemble:

Half noodles, top with half meat mixture, then sprinkle half cheese. Repeat.

Bake @ 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until cheese melted.
